With the support of Olof Palme International Center (OPIC), Forum of Left Initiative (FLI) is bringing together young leaders from the region for three days of learning, exchange and networking in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From 6–8 November 2026, you will have the opportunity to:

🌐 Explore diplomacy, international relations and regional cooperation.
💡 Strengthen your skills for social and political activism.
🤝 Build new connections and become part of a regional network of young change-makers

WHAT IS THE MAIN SUBJECT IN FOCUS OF THE REGIONAL SCHOOL OF DIPLOMACY?
Diplomatic behaviour, the importance of diplomacy for the country's progress, lobbying and importance of personal relations in diplomacy, areas of influence and multilateralism, economic diplomacy, and diplomacy and human rights are some of the topics that we will discuss about and learn with renowned experts and diplomats.
Have you ever wondered what the diplomat’s assignment is once s/he takes over the duty?
In global relations, under whose sphere of influence is the Western Balkan?
What is the importance of the lobbying phenomena growth in contemporary politics and economy?
Is the future of smaller countries in economic diplomacy?

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
If you are between ages of 18 and 35, you live in the Western Balkan countries, you are accomplished young leader in your community and you want to learn more about diplomacy and diplomatic relations – this is program for you. Regional School of Diplomacy will give you an opportunity to exchange experience with other youth from the region, and to upgrade your skills and competencies for social and political activism.
WHAT ELSE DO I GET FROM PARTICIPATION AT SCHOOL?
Regional School of Diplomacy participants will have the opportunity to hear testimonies of practical and personal experiences from previous and current diplomats and ambassadors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Regional School of Diplomacy is an excellent opportunity for networking that will to you, future representatives of your country in the region and in the world, enable easier experience and knowledge exchange.
Following the program closure, all participants will be awarded with certificates of completion.
