The Council of Europe is looking for a Senior Project Officer for the new project “Strengthening hate crime monitoring, equality data systems and victim protection in Albania”, part of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye”.

What you will do:
plan, co-ordinate and follow up project activities, including budget and procurement design and organise seminars, workshops and expert meetings, and contribute to regional initiatives against discrimination, racism and hatred supervise the project assistant and national and international consultants build partnerships with national authorities, international organisations and civil society
What you need:
1. at least five years of professional experience in anti-discrimination, combating hate crime and hate speech, or promoting diversity and equality, including technical assistance in human rights
2. good knowledge of Council of Europe and international standards in these fields, and of the human rights situation in Albania, including for LGBTI people, national minorities, Roma and other groups at risk
3. excellent Albanian and very good English
