Preparedness and resilience are now key EU priorities and youth volunteering (including the European Solidarity Corps) can help strengthen preparedness at community level, without becoming an emergency response.
SALTO European Solidarity Corps is hosting two interconnected webinars:
22 Jan 2026 – 14:30 – 16:00 CET – Webinar 1 “The contribution of youth volunteering to Resilience and the European Preparedness Strategy”
Focus: what “preparedness” means for youth programmes and the ESC, and how youth & civil protection actors can support each other.
19 Feb 2026 – 14:30 – 16:00 CET – Webinar 2 “Youth Volunteering and Civil Protection: Practices & opportunities within the European Solidarity Corps”
Focus: cooperation models, project design & safeguards, Quality Label, application/implementation tips, good practice & pitfalls.
The webinars are open for ESC organisations, civil protection actors, National Agencies, stakeholders and anyone interested.
