Tokom sesije razgovarat ćemo o napretku Sarajevo Functional Urban Area (FUA) u okviru Cities Mission, procesu izrade i implementacije Climate City Contracta (CCC) i ključnim projektima koji ovaj proces pretvaraju u konkretne aktivnosti.

Poseban fokus bit će na:

• podršci razvojnih agencija FUA Sarajevu u implementaciji klimatskih obaveza;
• programu #CapaCITIES i mogućnostima koje pruža njegova mreža;
• iskustvima drugih gradova;
• narednim koracima na putu Sarajeva prema klimatskoj neutralnosti.

Pozivamo predstavnike gradova, institucija, razvojnih agencija, organizacija, stručne zajednice i sve zainteresovane da nam se pridruže i doprinesu razgovoru o tome kako zajednički ubrzati klimatsku tranziciju.

From climate commitment to concrete action – join us in Sarajevo!

As part of the Sarajevo Energy and Climate Week 2026, FUA Sarajevo is hosting the Cities Mission Event, bringing together stakeholders to strengthen cooperation and accelerate the pathway towards a climate-neutral Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The session will explore the progress of the Sarajevo Functional Urban Area (FUA) within the Cities Mission, the development and implementation of the Climate City Contract (CCC), and the flagship projects that are turning climate commitments into concrete action.

The discussion will focus on:

• the role of development agencies in supporting cities and the FUA in implementing climate commitments;
• the CapaCITIES programme and opportunities offered through its network;
• the experience of other Mission cities;
• the next steps on Sarajevo’s pathway towards climate neutrality.

We invite representatives of cities, public institutions, development agencies, organisations, experts and all interested stakeholders to join us and contribute to the discussion on how we can accelerate the climate transition together.
