Growth Marketing (Paid Channels) - Internship
Applied Psychometrics UG Location: Sarajevo / Remote Role: Internship 12 months > Full time
About Applied Psychometrics
Applied Psychometrics is a science-led psychometric and digital mental health platform aiming to build the world's largest real-time diagnosis → intervention → outcome platform. We combine validated psychological instruments with AI-powered clinical tools to make measurement-based mental health care accessible and effective. We are a founder-led team building globally. Our values centre on privacy as a precondition, clinical rigor, and evidence-driven design. We move fast, think deeply, and hold ourselves to
high standards.
The Role
As Growth Marketing Intern (Paid Channels), you'll own the paid acquisition experiments for our Assessments, i.e. LoveIQ, our live consumer assessment on desire, intimacy and relationships. You'll come up with the tests, make the creative, run the campaigns, read the numbers and decide what happens next. Then you'll do it again, a little better. You'll work directly alongside the founders and develop a deep understanding of how an early-stage product finds its growth.
Core Responsibilities
1. Experiment Design & Ownership (Primary Focus)
- Generate a steady pipeline of test ideas: new channels, audiences, angles, formats, offers and landing variants
- Write each test as a clear hypothesis with a success metric, budget and kill criteria before any money is spent
- Prioritise the backlog by expected impact, cost and speed to learn
- Run every test to a decision: scale it, iterate it, or kill it
- Keep an experiment log so the whole team can see what we tried and what we learned
- Partner with founders on positioning, offers and where the next euro should go
2. Channel Management
- Set up, run and optimise campaigns on Google Ads, Reddit Ads, TikTok Ads and X Ads, and argue for others if you see a better fit
- Own targeting, bidding, budgets and pacing per channel
- Work within each platform's ad policies for relationship and intimacy content, without making the copy vague
- Monitor spend daily and catch problems before they get expensive
- Build a repeatable launch checklist so new channels go live fast and clean
3. Creative & Content Production
- Concept, write and produce ad creative yourself: static, short-form video, carousels and copy variants
- Turn our research and report content into hooks that make people want to take the test
- Brief and iterate landing page variants with the product team
- Use AI tools and design tools (Figma, Canva, CapCut or similar) to go from idea to live ad in days, not weeks
4. Measurement & Reporting
- Set up and maintain tracking: UTMs, conversion events and attribution across channels
- Follow the full funnel from impression to click to test start to purchase, and find where it leaks
- Share a short weekly readout with the founders: what ran, what we learned, what's next
- Proactively identify gaps and propose solutions
What We're Looking For
Core Qualities:
- Intellectual rigour: You think clearly, ask smart questions, and don't accept hand-wavy answers
- Ownership mindset: You take initiative and drive things to completion without micromanagement
- High performance standards: You thrive in a culture that values excellence and holds people accountable
- Adaptability: Early-stage means priorities shift; you roll with it and stay energised
- Communication: You write clearly, present crisply, and communicate across different audiences
- Cultural alignment: You care deeply about psychology, mental health, and evidence-based impact
Preferred Experience:
- Background in marketing, psychology, data, business, or a creative field (not required, but valuable context)
- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns on at least one platform (personal projects, side businesses and student initiatives count)
- Comfort with spreadsheets and analytics tools (GA4, PostHog or similar)
- A portfolio of ads, videos, posts or landing pages you've made (nice to have)
