To support the WPS project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, selected civil society organization partners will design and implement creative, community-based initiatives that promote peace, social cohesion, and women’s leadership. These initiatives will foster collaboration between women’s organizations and non-traditional actors, such as artists, cultural practitioners, sports professionals, and private sector representatives, to amplify peacebuilding messages and address key human security challenges affecting women, including gender-based violence, exclusion from decision-making, and economic insecurity.
Through the use of arts, culture, sports, and activism, selected partners will engage diverse communities, foster cross-entity collaboration, and contribute to the localization of the WPS agenda. All initiatives should ensure inclusive participation, with particular emphasis on the engagement of young women, girls, and underrepresented groups.
