System Administrator

INVENTRY d.o.o., based in Sarajevo, is an IT service company with a focus on IT security and a subsidiary of INVENTRY GmbH. The core services include IT security consulting, IT support and individual customer care according to the respective needs. Our clientele consists of German, internationally and globally active, medium-sized companies.

We are looking for a dedicated System Administrator to join our culturally diverse and fast-paced IT Support Team. As a System Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our IT systems. You will work closely with our support team and be part of our 24/5 shift operations, including early and late shifts.

• Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and system performance.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform system updates, patches, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus, and access policies.
• Document system configurations and procedures.
• Support IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

• Fluent in English (German is optional).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as system administration or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, virtualization and cloud technologies.
• Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, and security protocols.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts and manage critical incidents calmly.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Linux systems or IT security.
