This forum aims to deepen understanding of how digital competences can be developed across sectors and how they contribute to strengthening young people’s position in the labor market through knowledge sharing, networking, and hands-on experience. The focus of the forum will be on digitalization, digital skills, artificial intelligence and employment, which will be discussed in depth by professionals, experts and youth workers from various sectors.
What is this activity?
This activity is part of a Training and Cooperation Activity (TCA) organized by the Turkish National Agency for Erasmus+ & ESC. TCA is a tool for National Agencies to support the Erasmus+ Program and enhance its impact. As it is part of the Youth@Work Partnership, the event aims to bring together youth workers, youth leaders, youth project managers, youth policy makers, youth researchers and actors from other relevant sectors, all with a shared interest in youth employment and digitalization.
The event will be held in English, therefore applicants are expected to be able to understand and speak the language. Participants with any level of Erasmus+ experience are welcome.
Youth@Work Partnership:
The event is organised under the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership on youth employability and entrepreneurship of Erasmus+ National Agencies and SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres. The forum is part of the Youth@Work Partnership, alongside other projects tackling youth employability and entrepreneurship, organised by the twelve member Erasmus+ National Agencies and SALTO Resource Centres. Main Objectives:
The primary objectives of this forum are:
- To explore how the job market is evolving around digital skills,
- To discuss how to re-skill and up-skill youth workers on digital literacy,
- To showcase good examples of cross-sectoral projects,
- To understand how AI is changing employability and the future of the labour market,
- To explore how digital tools can be integrated into youth work,
Structure and Sessions:
The event will be organized around five thematic clusters, each addressing a key aspect of digital competences and their impact across different fields. Sessions under these clusters will take place concurrently, allowing participants to choose the topics most relevant to their interests and expertise.
Cluster 1 – Current and Emerging Digital Competences
Cluster 2 – Digital Competence Development: Across All Sectors
Cluster 3 – Youth Work and Digital Competences
Cluster 4 – AI & Future of the Labour Market
Cluster 5 – The use of digitalization and digital tools for better employment
