Youth Connect Western Balkans – British Council
Our partners at the British Council have invited us to help promote Youth Connect Western Balkans, a new programme bringing together 36 young people aged 18–30, with six participants from each of the Western Balkans Six (WB6). The programme aims to bring together young people from diverse backgrounds to learn, collaborate, and contribute to building a more peaceful region. The programme includes: A four-day training workshop in Belgrade in December 2026, led by regional trainer-mentors. A final showcase event in Montenegro in March 2027. All participation costs are covered. Applicants must have completed secondary education, and the application deadline is 25 October 2026.
WHO Youth Consultation – Health, Well-being and NCDs
Together with the WHO Regional Office for Europe, we are supporting a youth consultation process to inform the development of the WHO European Strategy on Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs), Health Promotion and Well-being for 2028–2037.
As part of this process, a survey has been launched to better understand young people's health priorities, the challenges they face, the groups that risk being left behind, and the actions and solutions they believe deserve greater attention.
We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing the survey with young people in your networks.
Survey details:
Who can participate: Anyone aged 18 and over living in the WHO European Region. No background in health is required.
Duration: Approximately 10–15 minutes.
Deadline: 1 November 2026.
Purpose: The responses will inform a regional youth consultation on 19 November 2026 and contribute to the WHO strategy-development process.
