Meet our expert group working on Career Guidance Edu Toolkit!
Families 👨👩👧👦 (29%), the online world and influencers 🗣️ (20%), and friends 🙋♂️ (18%) are the most common “career jokers” young people turn to when making decisions about their professional future. Teachers 👩🎓 are also among them (18%) – confirming that schools still play an important role in career guidance.
❗ However, the key question remains: are teachers truly equipped with up-to-date pedagogical tools, labour market intelligence, insights into technological advancements, and knowledge about the jobs of the future?
In times of rapid digital transformation and shifting skill demands, empowering educators is no longer optional – it is strategic.
That is why the regional STAR.study initiative has established an interdisciplinary expert group that will, in coordination with the wider Western Balkans community, develop a dedicated ⭐ Career Guidance Edu Toolkit for teachers and school counsellors.
🎯 Our goal is clear: to strengthen schools as proactive and relevant actors in preparing Generation Z for the labour market of the 21st century.
