About the Role
- We are looking for a motivated and talented Shopify Developer Intern with UX/UI design experience in Figma to help build and launch a large eCommerce platform for a U.S.-based startup.
- This internship is designed for a student currently enrolled in university who wants to gain real-world experience building and launching a full eCommerce platform from design to development.
- You will work on a real startup project and gain hands-on experience in product design, Shopify development, store setup, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design custom UX/UI layouts in Figma for an eCommerce platform
- Develop and implement designs within Shopify
- Configure Shopify store settings and functionality
- Assist with store launch preparation and testing
- Support ongoing improvements and maintenance of the platform
- Collaborate with leadership on product and design decisions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in university (faculty enrollment required)
- Experience using Figma for UX/UI design
- Basic to intermediate Shopify development knowledge
- Strong interest in eCommerce and startup environments
- High-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong motivation to learn and grow in development
